ROSHAL Zinc Borate
ROSHAL RN-BZ25 zinc borate has a wide range of applications as a flame retardant additive in various polymer and paint systems. The use of ROSHAL RN-BZ25 in various plastic and rubber mixtures contributes to the formation of a strong coke layer, suppresses smoke formation and prevents the polymer from smouldering. Zinc borates are widely used as fire retardants for PVC, polypropylene, polyamides, epoxy resins, thermoplastics, polyurethane thermosetting resins and plastisols. Since ROSHAL RN-BZ25 is stable at temperatures above 290 °C, it is suitable not only for use in extrusion processes, but also in polymers that require high-temperature treatment. The use of additional additives in the compositions, such as aluminium hydroxide (ATH) or magnesium hydroxide, will help enhance the composition's synergistic, flame retardant effect. |
